E.K Developing pupils' Knowledge, Understanding and Skills
Through engagement with a range of stimuli, including peers, poetry, prose, drama, non-fiction, media and multimedia, which enhance creativity and stimulate curiosity and imagination, pupils should have opportunities to become critical, creative and effective communicators by:
E.K.1 expressing meaning, feelings and viewpoints;
E.K.2 talking, to include debate, role play, interviews, presentations and group discussions;
E.K.3 listening actively and reporting back;
E.K.4 reading and viewing for key ideas, enjoyment, engagement and empathy;

E.3.1 Investigate the importance of communication skills in life/work situations.
